Did pagans used to wear any jewelry to indicate their religious beliefs?

Did the early Christians destroy all that too?

at first there was no need. people worshipped their gods and didnt have to make a big deal out of it.
however certain religions, such as mithras etc. actually tattooed themselves with the symbols of their gods (as do christians in africa till this very day). during the middle ages the christians made people of other religions wear hats or items of clothing of specific colours or shape to show that they weren’t christians. (that’s the origin of the yellow star for jews, for instance).
